Area of Expertise

• Design of HVAC system including heating and cooling load calculation, HVAC equipment sizing, and plumbing. Selection of the proper HVAC system for various type of buildings such as residential, hospitals, factories, greenhouses, computer centres and educational buildings.

• Duct system calculation, pressure drop calculation, fan selection, sizing of duct-mounted equipment such as supply air/return air diffusers/grills, volume control damper and fire dampers, balancing dampers, volume box, silencers, etc.

• Design of HVAC system details including fan, filter, compressors and heating and cooling coils

• Calculation and selection of the air-conditioning and ventilation equipment including chillers, fan coil units, air handling units, direct expansion packages, ducted split units, VAV Systems, VRF Systems, cooling towers and evaporative cooling systems

• Sizing, calculation and selection of heating equipment including boilers, boiler burners, expansion tanks, oil tanks, hot water tanks, water softener, radiators, pump and booster pumps, buffer tanks, etc.

• Delivering financial and technical proposals for determining optimal air conditioning systems.

• Verification and measurement of HVAC systems and energy requirements using computer simulations to calculate potential energy savings.

• Supervision of the installation of the HVAC system during construction, in accordance with technical, quality and safety requirements.

• Familiar with several HVAC design software such as HAP (E20-II) for load calculation, FisaDuct for duct sizing and pressure drop calculation, Coil Design, Block Load, ASHRAE Psychrometric tool, CHVAC, Cool pack, HVAC Solution, etc.

• Fully familiar with relative HVAC Standards such as AHRAE, ARI, AIRAH, CIBSE, etc.
